Buying MLM leads is not for the lighthearted. You have to be tough skinned tenacious and hungry to make some money. If you just want to “try it out” you are probably going to waste you time, energy and capital with purchased MLM leads. This article is going to show you how to avoid wasting your money and to get an answer to the questions you have about the questions of whether you should buy MLM leads or not.

Here are five points to consider:

1. Consider the source. How long has the company been in business? Do they have a track record?

2. Are they willing to give some sample leads to try before you make a commitment?

4. What is the source of the leads? What kind of advertising did they use? For MLM, online marketing, home based business, etc. You need to know.

5. Find out the amount of times the leads are resold. More than five times is too much, no matter how cheap the MLM leads you buy are. If they have been beat and pounded to death, they are worthless.

5. What is the target market of the leads being generated? If they are responding to a bait and switch ad that sounds like a job, you are going to be calling a bunch of broke people who just want a paycheck and are not looking to be an entrepreneur or home based business owner.

It gets old when you dial name after name and they are mostly lousy leads that don’t even remember asking for info or they thought this was employment with a W2 kind of income. In fact early on went I went to buy MLM leads I went though a massive amount of this kind of results. I made it work, but it wasn’t a good investment of time and money.

The truth is they are not all that way. I don’t want to throw the baby out with the bath water here. But here is the next challenge when you buy MLM leads: Are you really braced for what it takes to make to make cold opportunity leads work? It takes guts, discipline, determination and wealth builder mindset. You better be tough skinned and ready for some possible rejection.

I have had tremendous success over the years when I decided to buy MLM leads and I have wasted my time and money too. Sometimes I just wasn’t ready and I did not even call all the leads. I have found that is the case with many of my students and coaching clients also. So you have to be serious and hungry.

I have found a much better way to get a fresh daily leads by using a proven, duplicatable system which compels people to seek me and my brand. It makes me the “hunted” instead of the “hunter” and it is much more productive, profitable and fun.

For more than 20 years I have worked with struggling network marketers to breakthrough to the 5 percent of the industry leaders that are making over 90 percent of the money. Are you going to be one of the trivial many or one of the vital few? I look forward to knowing you and being your friend.

With this bestselling guide, learn how to unlock Facebook's talents as personal website creator, souped-up address book, and bustling community forum. It's an eye-opening, timesaving tour, guaranteed to help you get the most out of your Facebook experience.

  • Get started, get connected. Signing up is easy, but the real payoff comes when you tap into networks of coworkers, classmates, and friends. Pick and choose who gets to see what, and learn how to steer clear of people you want to avoid.
  • Add applications. Transform your Facebook account into an addictive, one-stop resource with thousands of mini-programs, ranging from silly to serious.
  • Go professional. Facebook isn’t just for college kids. Thousands of companies and businesspeople use the site for everything from project collaboration and advertising to filling (and finding) jobs. You’ll learn all the tricks.
  • Protect your privacy. You may feel too exposed with so much personal info on display. This book features an easy-to-follow, multi-pronged approach to staying safe on Facebook.
What You'll Find in the Book

Regardless of why you’re on Facebook (or thinking about registering), chances are you fall into at least one of the following categories: parent, student, or teacher.

If you’re a parent, ask your kid to friend you (Chapter 3) so you can see what she’s up to. Then tweak your settings (Chapter 5) to maximize the chance that if your daughter posts, say, a picture of herself at a concert that was held the night she was supposed to be home studying, you’ll hear about it.

You taught your kids how to use a fork, and you need to teach your children how to act online, too—because, statistically speaking, they don’t know. Studies show that most teens take what they read online at face value; don’t realize that people outside their circle of friends can see what they put on Facebook; and routinely post inappropriate info, such as their home addresses. And this kind of behavior can have serious consequences, from cyber-bullying and cyber-stalking to lowered grades and job prospects (teachers and recruiters know how to use Facebook, too—and what your child posts today will be archived forever). Just knowing you’re lurking in the Facebook shadows may be enough to keep your kid behaving appropriately.

If you’re a student, you need to know how to keep your private life private on Facebook. You absolutely, positively need to read Chapter 13 and work through your privacy settings one by one. After you’ve done that, amp up your privacy by:

  • Keeping it clean. Facebook archives everything you put on the site, so the stuff you intended as a joke could cause you a lot of grief in a few years when, say, you meet the love of your life—or the recruiter for your dream job.

  • Going easy on the pix. Don’t upload pictures that show you having more fun than you ought to have. Doesn’t matter if you yank ’em down after your pals get a look: The instant you upload a picture, Facebook owns it and some alert somebody could save a copy and email it to everyone in existence before you remove it.

  • Assuming your profs, parents, best friend, and worst enemy can see everything you post. There are a lot of ways people can get access to your Facebook account, so don’t assume that only your best buds can see what you do on the site—even if you tweaked your privacy settings, because those settings change over time and there’s always a hack.

If you’re a teacher, don’t bother trying to use Facebook to teach. No study yet has shown that the site can be used effectively in education—and anecdotal evidence suggests that it can’t. Students tend to think of Facebook as “their” place, not an exciting extension to the classroom, and there’s little (if anything) you can do on Facebook that you can’t accomplish behind a lectern.

However, if you’re having trouble contacting students via email or phone—to remind them of an assignment coming due, for example—try befriending them on Facebook, adding them to a Friend List (Chapter 3), and sending them Messages (Chapter 4). If your students are college age, you’ll likely get quicker responses that way.

While you’re on Facebook, take a few minutes to peruse the profiles of any students riding the line between grades. You may be surprised at how many students whose grandmothers’ sudden illnesses prevented them from taking your final somehow had time to post wild party photos from (one can only conclude) Grandma’s bedside.

First, social media is the knot that ties between building your business and your rapport. In other words, social media can bet used to make the relationship between your business and the people stronger. However, depending on solely social media is not a good thing to do. Most marketers try to make money directly off social media and come up dry with not much money at all. So, prevent spamming your affiliate links all over your page and on others as well.

By doing this, people who see it will ignore you and think of you as an annoyance.

Secondly, connecting with people is what social media is all about. However, avoid adding massive amounts of people and thinking that more is better. Quality is more valuable than quantity. Create a positive relationship with people in social media and you will see that people will trust in you. Also, avoid adding a large amount of people in a short amount of time because this may lead to your account being banned.

The third step will be directing people to your site. This site should be full of useful content or offering something useful. Don’t send people to your sales page immediately.. This is important because it is the best way to brand yourself and show people you know what you’re talking about. You’re showing them you’re the go-to person when it comes to building a successful business.. What is essential to avoid here is directing people to your sales page. It is an automatic turn off to your prospect and you’ll end up defeated.

Overall, when following these steps presented above, your way to success should be on its way! Having a good understanding of the role of social media in marketing is important and with the proper actions you can create a prosperous business in no time.

Personalize It To Sell!

Social media network marketing is taking off big time with sites like Facebook and Twitter in the top five social network sites. These websites have produced new opportunities to reach people online, even market them, if you know how to do it correctly. One thing that it is possible to be sure of is that people who get on these websites enjoy the way it helps them define their self-identities. So, marketing to anything that helps them say who they are, what groups they belong to, and what values they uphold is a great way to build your contact list, and even in some cases, promote products that will appeal to this demographic.

Look At Me!

One way that Facebook and Twitter let you personalize the profile is by using your real name, or in the case of Twitter, a screen name. This draws attention to who that person is and helps to boost their self-image. In the same way, if you are trying to sell cups or calendars, if you have some way that you can include a personalization to make the item more custom, you will generate more orders. Everyone loves to see their name in print!

Generate A Group Identity

On Facebook, it is possible to set up a Facebook page for celebrities, businesses, and products. People then join these pages to become a group of fans that like the page or topic. Once you have a group of people together, it can be a great way to get a group identity together by creating interesting names for the groups, having interactive activities on occasion and creating social badges that show people as being a member of that group. This helps in promoting your group and your business as other people go to other social media sites. They can then identify themselves by saying they’re a member of that group or using some other form of badge or button that you provide to identify themselves with pride. Even if they never go elsewhere to promote your group, the fact that they are a part of a group that you started gives you a captive audience and relaxes many of the restrictions that you have for marketing in Facebook. You can’t spam others on their profiles with your offers, but in a group, the practice may be more acceptable if it helps to facilitate group activities and uphold group standards of identity.

Social Values That Sell

If you’re a non-profit organization trying to use social bookmarking to help generate contacts and promote some of your products, you can sell through the promotion of your social values. For instance, should you be a non-profit that believes in environmental issues, you are able to promote specific items in your product line-up, in a post to a group wall, that shows how that item helps to save the environment. Since people wouldn’t join the group of a social conscience site without having some of the same values, it provides an excellent trigger to generate buying behavior.

Innovation With Applications

Innovation will almost certainly make it easier to succeed where others fail. If you don’t innovate during these tough times, your product line will get stale and your company will have a harder and harder time differentiating themselves from all the others. But, by doing something unique that shows off what an innovative business you are, it can give you the online image that you’re an intelligent, hip, and with it company that is going to keep getting better and better. But, how do you do this when you don’t want to spend a ton of money and time on research and development on products that may not earn more then they took to develop. Well, until the time comes to unroll your big innovation, you can opt for small innovative gestures that show your customers you really are on the leading edge. For that, Internet and social media applications can be a really easy way to get the right attention without too much in depth research or commitment.

Website Applications

Even if you do not decide to develop your own, there are plenty of website applications you can use on your own website to give the impression that you’re technologically savvy and innovative. If you have a stock market website, why not include some stock quote applications? If you are a mortgage lender, mortgage calculators make ideal tools to add to your website because they help your buyers determine how much house they can afford.

You can even hire someone to create special applications for your website to further promote some product. For instance, recently, a website called Telonu.com that offers reviews of employers also created an application that tracks the layoffs in the different companies. People who go to the site cannot only get an idea of how good they are to work for, but whether they are stable, growing companies or not.

Online community Applications

There is a great glut of applications on online community sites, like Facebook. But, there’s always room for one more, if it is genuinely innovative and engaging. These make an excellent foil to introduce new customers to your business and to interact in a manner that is non-threatening and friendly. Different examples of popular applications on Facebook are L’il Green which gets environmentally conscious people to build virtual gardens and save rain forest while they’re doing it. If an application is well accepted, it can spread across Facebook extremely fast, landing you in practically everyone’s inbox.

You can hire someone to produce a Facebook application or you can do it yourself. Basic ones are generally just a collection of images that are used to promote some concept and that are fun to send as gifts to others on the same online community site. Just downloading one application will often get you a link to produce your own application, should the mood suit you and you have a firm concept that promotes your business niche too. Don’t just go willy-nilly. Try to use the application to help provide exposure for some area within your business that is targeting a specific market niche.

Twitter is a new free social networking site. Twitter uses a technique called micro-blogging which is nothing more than a text message that is send to other users and it is known as a tweet. These tweets are posts that are shown on the originators twitter page as well is visible on the people that subscribe to that person or in other words follows that person. So as you can see the larger number of followers that you have the larger the number of people that will see or read your messages or tweets. So if you tweet something that is a product or service this enables you to get it out to a large number of people very quickly. As yo can see twitter is considered a good way to social market.

However the fact is that just having a high number of followers does not really mean anything by itself for your business. The followers need to be interested in what you are say and also be willing to act on the information that you are sharing in your tweets. So raw numbers that are untargeted are not of much value.

So what is the best way to find targeted people on Twitter? You can simply look at your competitors profile and see the way they market. After that, look at the people who are on their followers. What is the significance? Well, if those people are following that particular person who is in the same market as you, chances are they are the target people you are looking for. So, the next thing you have to do is to follow them.

From here the process if fairly straight forward once you understand the above logic or process. Below is the step by step process to follow:

1. Create your profile in a very professional looking way. One that will attract people.

2. Find out who the competitors are in your market. Do some research and lean who they are.

3. Look at the profile of that particular person who is in the same market and see what they have done.

4. Click on his followers. After a couple of days, you will notice that the people you follow from his account are also following you.

5. You next step is to unfollow people who do not follow you. This is for you to follow more people.

6. Continue to post tweets that would capture your followers’ interest.
