The method to make money from blogs is simple, affiliate and advertising commissions. When a prospect comes to your blog, they can click on an affiliate link, and you earn a commission when they purchase. If you choose to do ads too, you get a portion of what the advertiser pays per click. Blogging can also be pretty unique, especially if you make the blog about something that you like.

The terrific thing about blogging is the technique that it automatically draws customers to your site, since the free blog providers are crawled by the search engines on a daily time frame. So you add some content, the search engines come and add it to their results, then when people search for that same info they come at your blog. The more you add to your blog, the more traffic you will receive to it. Also, if you make a really unique blog that has strong information, then people will favorite it and come back often.

Yes, you only make a few cents per click, and from a product you get dollars per purchase, but promoting products is not as easy as it seems. You have to know how to write a sales pitch and properly pre-sell it. Ads require no expertise, just content and information that you before hand know.

This brings me to my next point, choose your topics correctly. The unique thing to do is to make a blog about something you already know about, this way you won’t lose interest quickly and it will keep you coming up with fresh ideas all the time. Typically, make a blog about your hobby or something that you enjoy to do in your free time, or a topic that you just like to talk about.

The only thing with blogging for cash is that too many newbies do it incorrectly and end up getting squashed or something from the search engines, or worst yet, their blog host. No traffic mean no profits, so if that happens then you will not receive all of your profits.
