Brochures are highly effective promotional tools for all types of organizations. They lend credibility to a business by introducing and describing its offerings, organization background and other unique selling points in a compelling manner. Since, they play a key role as a promotion tool it is important that they are designed well and undergo fine quality printing. This article will offer you some valuable advice on brochure printing and design.
The primary aim of a brochure is to convey information. However, it also has to be good-looking, so that prospective customers are tempted to read through it. There should be a perfect blend of text and images, and the colours should be used harmoniously. Fonts, outlines, and graphics are vital components of brochure design and they should complement each other well. In addition to being coherent and easy to follow, the brochure must also be a visual delight and not jumbled and messy.
The brochure printing related considerations should also be taken care of at the time of designing. It is generally a wise decision to take a test print out to see how the final brochure is going to look before you send it for large volume printing.
There are also sample designs available in the net. In there, you can find lots of designs and even suggestions of how to create them. Be sure that your design is connected to what merchandise or services you are promoting. Just make your creativity works and you can have a very good brochure.
Budgetary considerations for brochure printing should not be neglected at the time of brochure designing. In case you have a limited budget, you can always explore the option of black and white printing as it turns out to be much cheaper than colour printing. However, if budget is not an issue and if vibrant and colorful brochures are what you seek, then thick and shiny papers should be chosen for good looking prints. A concise brochure which needs printing on either side of the paper will need an adequately thick paper for printing.
Looking for discounts from the printer makes good sense if brochure printing is being done in bulk. Quality, however, must always be of central concern because a compromise on that front might be counter-productive for the business.

The 2009-2014 World Outlook for Printing Trade ServicesThis econometric study covers the world outlook for printing trade services across more than 200 countries. For each year reported, estimates are given for the latent demand, or potential industry earnings (P.I.E.), for the country in question (in millions of U.S. dollars), the percent share the country is of the region and of the globe. These comparative benchmarks allow the reader to quickly gauge a country vis-à-vis others. Using econometric models which project fundamental economic dynamics within each country and across countries, latent demand estimates are created. This report does not discuss the specific players in the market serving the latent demand, nor specific details at the product level. The study also does not consider short-term cyclicalities that might affect realized sales. The study, therefore, is strategic in nature, taking an aggregate and long-run view, irrespective of the players or products involved. This study does not report actual sales data (which are simply unavailable, in a comparable or consistent manner in virtually all of the 230 countries of the world). This study gives, however, my estimates for the worldwide latent demand, or the P.I.E., for printing trade services. It also shows how the P.I.E. is divided across the world's regional and national markets. For each country, I also show my estimates of how the P.I.E. grows over time (positive or negative growth). In order to make these estimates, a multi-stage methodology was employed that is often taught in courses on international strategic planning at graduate schools of business.
